The IOSH course provides full basic details of how to work safely on site. You will be shown why health & safety is of prime importance and how by changing what you do on a daily basis; you can take care of yourself and others. The course is interactive and interesting, with the focus being more on practical best practice rather than detailed legislation.

This course is taught by a skilled and knowledgeable professional from the construction industry. It lasts for one day and will take place in class. You will be shown examples from real life to illustrate key points. Quizzes and games will maintain your interest and assessment will be in the form of multi-choice questions and a test to pinpoint hazards.
When you pass the IOSH Working Safely course you will receive either the IOSH working safely certificate and/or the IOSH safety passport.
This course is the compatible equivalent to the Site Safety Plus: Health and Safety Awareness Course. Upon completion, you can put in an application for your Green CSCS Card as long as you have passed the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Operatives Test.
This course is aimed at operatives from all sectors, no matter their position of seniority. In addition, you need to have good English skills, both verbal and written.
